We Serve Africa
As a vision that I have had growing inside over the last 10-15 years is to see the nation of Africa and serve the needs through the grace of Jesus. This October of 2012 will be my first trip to Uganda, Africa and I hope to make many more. I am serving with Bethel Church from Redding Ca. and have a growing desire to establish a LIFELINE from America to the country of Africa. My start is small yet my vision and heart is big.
Reflection “Africa Oct. 2013” :
I went to Uganda and experienced life changing moments in a short two week trip. I was awakened to a new world that I feel compelled to help and serve in Africa. I met beautiful people that show and express great joy and also great people who are already serving in Africa. I am certain that this first trip was a start to a huge vision to transform a continent. I know it sounds crazy to say “continent” yet I need to believe big and dream big and I know big things will happen for Africa.
I need to be honest it can be challenging to think about touching a country when most or nearly all my time has gone into building a business. I am happy to say that I am going on my second trip to Africa in less than a year! I really feel alive when I pursue the needs of others -especially in Africa. When I came back from my first trip I was planning on setting “Fresh Heating and Air” up to run without me in one or two months then go back to Uganda for 3 months. Now it has been around 9 months and I feel I can do another short trip about two weeks. I believe we will make connections that will be longterm and impacting. God is my passion and living for Him is what I want to do and I believe He wants me to go to Africa.
It was a life changing trip for me I would say even more than the first. I feel that this trip marked me to give my life more fully to preach the gospel of Jesus who is alive and savior to all who call on Him and give themselves to Him. In coming back to America I purposed to have God be my exclusive compass of direction for our company and what we do and represent. I am thankful for all the support that our team gave me to go to Uganda for the second time now and thankful for the people who use our services that allows us to fulfill our dreams. I’m planning on another trip in April 2014 yet walking in complete leading of God’s timing. Thanks for your interest.
